英文摘要:       In this Study, type I, type II, type V, type IX and type XI collagens from human bone and cartilage were prepared. Antisera against these collagen types from rabbits were characterized by immunoblotting and immunohistochemical staining. Antibodies against type XI collagen were further purified with affinity chromatography. An initial biochemical study on the cartilage from two patients with Kashin-Beck disease in third degree was performed. The cartilage of the patients showed a high extractibility by neutral salt solution. In its neutral salt extracts, PN-collagen II was found, this indicates that the patients with Kashin-Beck disease have an impaired conversion of PN-collagen II to collagen II. In the differential salt precipitation in 0.5M acetic acid, the fraction from 1.2M NaCl showed an abnormal SDS-PAGE pattern which should be type XI collagen. Type II collagen from the cartilage of patients with Kashin-Beck disease showed a slower migration than normal collagen II. Fulvic acid, one of the environmental factors of Kashin-Beck disease, can be accumulated in the bones of rats. It is able to affect the activity of xanthine oxidase which plays an important role in the production of reactive oxygen in pathological condition. and can inhibit the growth of chick embroys, especially the growth of skeletal system.
