AbstractThe principle, separation modes (capillary zone electrophoresis, micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography, nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis, microchip etc), detection methods ( ultraviolet, fluorescence, chemiluminescence, amperometry,, conductivity, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry) and application of capillary electrophoresis on trace metals analysis are reviewed with 94 references.
